Indication

Severe infections caused by:
*Salmonella Sp.
*H. Influenzae (especially meningual infections)
*Rickettsia
*Lymphogranuloma Psitacosis
*Gram negative causing: Bacteremia Meningitis
*Not for hepatobiliary and gonorrhoeae

Dose

Adults, children, babies over 2 weeks old:
*50mg/kg body weight per day in divided doses 3 - 4 times a day

*Premature babies:
*25mg/kg body weight per day in divided doses 4 times a day.
Babies under 2 weeks old:
*25mg/kg body weight per day in divided doses 4 times a day
