Indication

Rheumatic and Hematologic Disorders
Endocrine disorders primary or secondary adrenocorticoid insufficiency
Skin, Allergic, Eye, Neoplastic, Gastrointestinal Diseases
Collagen diseases during exacerbation/maintenance therapy in systemic lupus erymatoza, acute rheumatic carditis
Respiratory diseases Symptomatic sarcoidosis, pneumonitis, aspiration
Conditions Edema

Dose

The dose for adults and children > 12 years is generally 4 - 48 mg/day as a single or divided dose.
in sclerosis conditions 60mg / day for a week, followed by 64mg for 1 month.
Children < 12 years: adrenocorticoid insufficiency: 117 mcg/kg body weight or 3.33 mg/m2 body surface per day divided into 3 doses
Other indications: 417 mcg-1.67 mg/kg body weight or 12.5 - 50 mg/ m2 of body surface per day divided into 3-4 doses
